From someday to shared history
Maybe there is a milestone. Maybe it is just Tuesday. Record who was there and what you shared.
Save the reactions, conversation, and details that turned a recommendation into family history.
Some stories help us guide. Others carry pieces of us.
A movie for the first time they feel alone. A song for starting again. A show that might help them transition to high school.
Your favorite show they just aren't ready for. The first album you bought and the story behind it. The movie your family still quotes.
A forever growing record
Over time, each title can collect the reason you saved it, the moment you shared it, and the reactions that made the experience belong to your family.

At launch: Family includes photo and video attachments, audio logging, transcription, and family syncing. These features are not available in the current beta.
Prices are in US dollars. At release, Apple may apply local taxes and currency conversion. If a paid plan ends, existing records remain readable and exportable rather than being deleted. The primary owner returns to Free and may continue saving titles and personal intentions; a second guardian remains read-only, and Memory Entry creation and shared editing pause until a paid plan is renewed.
Supabase stores account, membership, child-profile, Dex, and memory data so your household can sync across devices. Those structured records are readable by the service. Pronouns and profile photos stay on your device in the current beta, and the app also maintains an encrypted compatibility snapshot.
When does Donastoria launch?
The iPhone app is in development and planned for September 2026. Apply for the closed beta and we will contact every applicant with a selection decision. Every valid applicant will receive 10% off their first annual Essential or Family payment, whether or not they are selected for beta.
Who is Donastoria for?
Parents and grandparents use Donastoria to build and manage a family media archive. Children are part of the memories, but they do not need accounts and are not expected to manage the app.
What can I do on Free?
Free gives one adult an unlimited place to save titles and personal intentions—the things you hope to share and why they matter. This is a useful starting place for expecting parents and adults who want to plan for their future children. Memory Entries, child profiles, reactions, rewatches, and the Home and Timeline archive experience begin with Essential.
How do the plans differ?
Free is the unlimited title-and-intention list for one adult. Essential unlocks unlimited Memory Entries, the Timeline, and quick logging for one parent or guardian at $44.99 per year. Family includes everything in Essential, then adds a second guardian, shared authorship, photo and video attachments, audio logging, and transcription at $79.99 per year. Essential and Family are planned to include seven-day trials at release.
What happens if a paid plan ends?
At release, paid access will continue through the billing period and then return to Free. Nothing is deleted, and both guardians retain read and export access. The primary owner may continue saving titles and personal intentions; the second guardian remains read-only, and Memory Entry creation and shared editing pause until a paid plan is renewed.
Can both parents or guardians contribute?
Yes, with Family. A second guardian can join through a one-time invitation. Each adult’s Stories and reactions remain separately attributed inside the shared archive.
Can Donastoria read our archive?
Donastoria syncs structured family records through Supabase so your household can stay up to date across devices. Those records—including child-profile details, saved titles, Stories, Experiences, and reactions—are readable by the service rather than end-to-end encrypted. The app also maintains an encrypted compatibility snapshot.
What information is excluded from family sync?
Pronouns and child profile photos stay on your device in the current beta. Child names, birthdays and due dates, saved titles, Stories, Experiences, participants, and reactions can sync to your family account through Supabase.
What if every phone with our family key is lost?
Structured family records stored through Supabase can return after you sign in. The encrypted compatibility snapshot still depends on a device-held family key, and recovery keys and trusted-device recovery are not available in the current beta. That snapshot may not be recoverable if every device holding the key is lost.
Can entries include photos, video, or audio?
Not in the current beta. At launch, photo and video attachments, audio logging, and transcription will be included with the Family plan.
How does the closed-beta discount work?
Submit a valid closed-beta application. Whether or not you are selected, the launch offer applies once and takes 10% off the first annual Essential or Family payment—$40.49 for Essential or $71.99 for Family, before local taxes and App Store currency conversion.
